(1) High Void Three Lug Shoulder Design
High Void Three Lug Shoulder Design Pro Comp’s Advantage - The high-void, three lug shoulder has a larger, more aggressive open grip spur, for increased traction and self-cleaning. The three staged lug is also pre-drilled for studs for driving on both snow and ice. This benefit is not available from most of the competition.

Incorporates our proven "Tri-Ply" construction with Pro  Comp's new 10 Degree Radial Angle Technology which provides two radial polyester body plies and one outerply angled to 10 degrees.  This allows for maximum puncture resistance but still has predictability and flexibility on and off road.
 
Combine two layers of opposed-angle steel belting and a seemless layer spiral nylon over wrap for one of the industries toughest tyres on the road.  The extra thick sidewall treatments resist cuts and abrasions while the unique shoulder lugs enhance traction on the rock or in the mud.
 

 

(1) Super Quiet Computerized Directional Pattern
Computerized Aided Design (CAD) allowed us to manipulate the wind travel through the directional tread pattern making the Xterrain quiet on the highway.
(2) Kerf Grooved Directional Lug Grips
Its staggered directionally grooved tread pattern has full length lug sipes for superior "On" or "Off Road" traction that makes it superior in mud, snow, slush, loose dirt, rock and road. 
(3) Full Depth Lug Sipes
Its alternating open lug shoulder grip spurs aid in increased traction and self-cleaning. The Xterrain’s extra thick side wall treatment helps resist scrapes and cuts, maximises a biting edge side wall for increased traction on rocks or in mud. 
(4) Extra Thick Sidewall Treatment
Two layers of opposed-angle steel belting spans the tread area for maximum puncture resistance. The opposed angle steel allows the tread to flex under lower air pressure to maximise traction in rock, mud and sand.
